Nprinting dumps numeric data as text on excel

Hello all,

I'm struggling with one of my Nprinting reports. I have a straight table chart in Qlikview with multiple dimensions and Expressions, and

then there are several calculations that are being done in the excel template for this report. Now while creating report, nprinting dumps this chart object from qlik onto the excel template. Now there is one column(e.g TransactionType) which is a dimension in Qlik, and is dumped onto excel as text, this in turn messes up

with excel calculations, as excel formulas do not identify this as a number. I have already tried adding this dimension( TransactionType) as an expression in

straight table object, and changed it to a number, but with no luck. Excel still picks it up as a text. Could someone please suggest me how to get around this?

Is there anyway we can resolve this in Qlik itself or is it totally an excel issue?

TIA
