Number format in charts

Hi,

I have a chart : bar chart & sector, with two dimension year/product, the expression is sum(amount).

I can't set the money format for both sector & bar chart and the two dimension. please see qv attached.

Many thanks,

You've run into a bug. What you did was correct, but pie charts with multiple dimensions don't format numbers correctly. I tried it in v9 and it's the same problem.

On the Expression tab, select "Text on Data Point" instead of "Numbers on Data Point".

Thanks, I've tried that but If I do that, I lose the value on the bar chart representation...

I can't understand the difference between Text on data point and Numbers on Date Point by the way.

Hi,

Number doesn't format the value (ie 1500), while text does (i.e $1,500) using format set in numbers tab.

but for bar charts, the text on data point does'nt apply when style is "stacked".
