ODBC CONNECTION ISSUE

Hi Folks ....

I'm unable to see the odbc connection strings while tried connecting

Here in the below screen showing two strings for 2017 and 2018 got configured and able to load the data as well but this is not displaying connection string while tried connecting.

Any one can help me to come out of this issue

Perhaps you're trying to see connections defined for the 32-bit drivers while they've been defined for the 64-bit drivers. Or vice-versa.

Hi Saikishore,

Have you actually created the ODBC connection in "ODBC data source Administrator"? Below link may help you to understand this better.

Do you have access for the database "c0002018_c1"? Did you configure the details in "ODBC data source administrator? It looks like you have configured for 2017 datasbase and not for 2018. Can you recheck it? Also please confirm did you get any error message?

Hi Saikishore,

Is the issue resolved? Could you explain what you have done to resolve it? It would be helpful for me and others . Thanks.

Able to load the data by connecting to data source after reconfigure the odbc connection

With the help of thread posted by you, but not able to show the connections

Actually this issue is facing after system got format and i came to know from one of my colleague there might be a chance of missing some driver file   .

If you can let  me know the list of driver files to check with,  this will be helpful.

Hi,

I have the same problem. I'm using QlikSense Desktop and I don't have administrator rights. So I have created a MS Access ODBC connection (User DSN). I have tested the connection from Excel and I can open it and get the data, but in Qlik Sense I see the same empty screen reported above by Kakani.

Any help? it could be something related to users? (i.e. Qlik Sense user is different from Windows user and therefore is not able to see the User DSN?)

Thank you in advance,

Nicolas
