ODBC Connection to Progress RDBMS ver 9.1d from windows 8 server

Our Source Data is on Progress RDBMS version 9.1d. Unable to connect through ODBC from windows 7 / windows 8 server where qlikview is installed.Would like to know if anybody has been able to connect to this version of progress RDBMS or has any recomendations for connecting through ODBC
