Is there a way to force QlikView to respect the data type that are defined in the database? This is because currently I'm having some issue with some data where it should be text but saved as number in QVD. Due to this, some of the data become combined (e.g. 01234=1234) even though that are 2 distinct value. The current workaround that I use is to force convert the type using the text() function, but there are many tables and fields in the database and it is not feasible to do it for all manually.
