I am farely new to qlikview all has been going relative well till a few months ago.
2 to 3 times a week our scripts seems to fail not as a result of any errors or anything but because the connection to our database seems to hang and stays at this point till we discover this in the morning and have to kill the load manually.
We create QVD's in the evening and the connection to the various databases is for this reason as we cannot hit the database during production hours.
Anyone experience something similar and if so what did you do to fix the problem.
Luckily this is only on our dev machine and we have our production machine which funny enough always completes and has the exact same coding.
