Object Properties in IE plugin

Hi All,

I want to use the IE Plugin instead of the AJAX, but unfortunately I can't edit Chart's/Table/Listbox/etc... properties when I use the IE plugin. The AJAX menu is fine but the IE plugin is missing "properties" in right click menu, for those objects.

Any one knows why?

Already done what is suggested in post:

Copy/Paste/Modify Charts in AccessPoint | Qlik Community

Did not help.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply.

I don't think it is the installation problem because it behaves like that on each computer with the fresh plugin installation.

I tried to create new objects through the IE plugin and all new objects have 'properties',

but those which were there already (created originally in qlikview) do not have 'properties'.

Is there any security setting to allow users to edit those object's properties?

Regards,

MA

This is how it must work.  Users cannot make changes on the web-based QV document.  It is common sense.

They can create new objects and do anything with these, because user objects are not part of QV document.

Thank you Michael,

You are right. After giving it little bit of thought, it would created a lot of mess for other users if any one could edit the main objects. Still users can clone the object and then change its settings, and i.e. leave it above the original one.

Thank you very much.
