Odbc connection error

Hi All

while creating odbc connection after giving data source name db server and ntname authentication

it is giving error as

connection failed

sqlstate:'01000'

sqlserver error:2

any one please help me how to create

It is nothing to do with Qlikview. Please check the below link

Hi,

in ODBC management (in Windows, not QlikView) you might have a Test Connection button.

Does it work?

Does your SQL Server allow for connections over tcp/ip?

Have you actually created the ODBC connection in Windows first? And actually tested it?
