Odd property box format

Any idea why sometimes the property boxes appear truncated? I can't resize them or scroll to the right. It hasn't been a problem so far, but it's still odd. Is there a setting somewhere that would fix this?

Hi Scott,

May be  format of the field been set at the level of the document properties and the user is not allowed to change it?
