OnOpen in server environment

Hi all,

The manual states (page 384 of v9 Reference Manual Book II):

The following triggers are not to be used in the QlikView Server environment, since

they lack meaning or may cause unexpected results:

OnOpen

OnPostReduceData

OnPostReload

But I see so many people using the OnOpen in conjunction with QVS (presumably using the plugin) quite happily - is this just a case of the manual being wrong or are we going to get badly bitten sometime in the future?

I asked Qliktech support the question but the reply I got was that the manual was correct and if OnOpen was used in the server environment it should be carefully tested.

Not very helpfull really.

Anyone have any comments?

Has anyone tried the OnOpen trigger since v10 came out? I'm trying to select a bookmark using OnOpen, with the IE plugin, and nothing happens. Can anyone else test it out really quick and let me know if it's working for you?

Note that the manual has been changed for both V9 and V10. OnOpen has been removed from the list of disallowed on Server.
