OnOpen trigger broken in IE Plugin?

My setup:

Qlikview 11.2

Using the IE Plugin

Using IE 10

I can't seem to get the OnOpen trigger to consistently work when I'm opening the document in the IE plugin. Here's what I'm using it for:

Clear selections

Make selection on field1

Lock field1

Make selection on field2

Make selection on field3

One or more of these don't happen when I open it in the IE Plugin. When I open it in developer it's fine.

I know there have been several posts about this, but I haven't found any solutions for this specific problem yet. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Other details:

- It works in AJAX for some reason, but we're not ready to migrate to that yet.

- It appears to fail only after the document has been refreshed.
