Open a dashboard with selections

I have a dashboard that has been deployed for a while already. It sits on top of a database which also has its own data entry application.

I was asked if there's a way to set up a hyperlink to open the dashboard with filters already set based on the data entry tool.

For example, if I have 3 contracts open in the data entry tool, I'd click a button and the Dashbioard would open with the filter set to those 3 contracts.

Hi,

It's possible with a button, a text or a jauge object.

You have to add an action and follow this procedure :

No, I think you misunderstood.

Daniel wants to open another document from his current selections (selections made in the first application).

Daniel, am I wrong ?

The first application is not a QlikView application. It's an application that was designed and built in-house by my employer. We'd want to set up a link that would launch a QlikView application (through the Access Point) with selections specified in the first application.
