Opening demo files in Personal Edition

Hi all,

I've just installed the Personal Edition of QV (version 10.00.8935.7 SR2) and it doesn't seem to come with example files. So I went to the website and downloaded the Retail Banking - Credit Risk Analysis.qvw file but it won't let me open it.

I thought I'd be able to open the example files even tho I'm in Personal Edition?

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Tony

Hi,

    You will find the examples in below folder if you have done a complete installation

    C:\Program Files\QlikView\Examples\Documents

Hi,

When doing a complete installation of QlikView you should have example files on Start page/Getting Started/ Examples, even when running a Personal Edition.

That's what I thought. But under Examples I just have

-> View more examples on www.qlik.com

-> Learn more about QlikView....

Strange. Maybe my IT dept didn't do a full installation? Do you know if there is an option during installation to exclude the example files?

Thanks,

Tony
