Opening .qvw files after expiry

Is there anyway to open qvw files after a date on Personal Edition? Because I am trying to open qvw files created by myself and I am not able to access them after a certain time period. Can anybody help me with an alternate way to open them?

It's not about time. Check my reply here for better understanding: Cannot Open My Own Qlikview Files

Hi Abhijith,

There is a document limit for personal edition to recover the file  we build. I don't think there is way to open this document until you have valid licence.

Many Thanks

for a personal edition their is a time limit for a document opening but you can open expired file by changing your system date ( go past for a month )

You can either ask a licensed QlikView user to open your document and export layout and script, or throw your qvw in Qlik Sense Desktop and recover the script yourself.

But a Personal Edition that has exceeded it's maximum number of allowed recoveries cannnot be persuaded to start afresh.

You need licensed version now.

Having license is the ideal situation. But, if you don't have license then don't try to open documents which are not created on your system. There's a limit to recover the document in qlikview. That limit is 4. If you keep trying again & again then you will lost access to those documents as well which were created by you on your system. Thank you!
