Hi guys
I was hoping to get some assistance from the community.
My boss asked me to build a proof of concept for a customer that does ERP including manufacturing.
The request is 2 objects per devision. I was hoping that you guys can maybe give me some information about what would look good to present? What devisions do i need, and what looks good.
I do not have experience to know what a customer like this would normally like to see.
I was thinking:
1. Stock holding
2. Sales
3. Purchases
4. Item Movement
5. Manufacturing
Like for instance #1,create a Pie for qty per location & Pie for value per location.
>>If anynone can please give me some guidance as to whether this is the correct areas, and what can i add into them.
Thank you
hi,
I would recommend you to do a POC on Sales. Sales data contains lots of information due to which we will be able to show different chart types and functionality of Qlikview.
Follow the below steps..
1) Undrstand the Business
2) try to understand the current issue they are facing with their data and what there looking out of Qlikview.
3) try to build a story line. (imagine you are owner of the firm. what would u like to see in terms of Sales).
4) Follow D.A.R i.e Dashboard, Analysis and Reporting method.
5) The application which you make should be able to answer any queries of the firm.
Regarding the KPI you can always look into Qlikview Demo applciation.
Wish you all the best.
Deepak
Thanx
Any other advice will be appreciated
Its depends on industries area of client. if client engaged in manufacturing industrries I will suggest you to give POC on Manufacturing . Please covers cocept like . Lead time, Production Channel, Wastage at different stage of production.
