Part 1: Is it possible to populate a straight table based on user selections?

Hello:

I have a two part question with this question being the most important, thus Part 1.  Is it possible to populate a straight table (or other chart object) based on what a user selects?  For example, if a user selects, and I'm thinking via a Multi-Box, a set of DM #'s (holding CTRL and clicking the DM #'s they want in the multi-box), can I populate a straight table with the associated values for those DM #'s?  The values needed would be DM #, Project ID, estimate_id, Project_Name (deliberately left out of the sample data), Order Quarter, Foundation, Foundation_1 and QTY (an expression that sum's the quantity for that item / row).

The straight table can exist with all values showing until the choices are made.  As a hint for Part 2,, I then need to be able to use, I'm thinking, a slider to adjust a particular DM # by a numeric value evenly across it's estimate ID's.

As always, any and all help will be appreciated.  Attached is the sample data.  Thanks in advance.
