Hi All,
Is it possible to pick any specific value from actual loaded table., like we use PEEK().
What I am trying to do is to give a comparison between the Resources exit date.
Suppose if resource 1008 (exit ind ='Y') is selected.. Internally in qlikview all the other rows gets non selected or disappears.
SO I am not able to calculate the expression ({<Exit_Ind={"Y">}Exit_date-today()) , with resource Id as Dimension. As internally now it have only ONE RESOURCE AVAILABLE.
How can I show this comparison on graph.
In a gist,I wish to show the comparison of all the resource exit dates if any resource with exit_ind='Y' is selected.
Can you send us a sample app with some expected out put. Could not understand with the snapshot posted in your thread !!!
I am yet to design the app. But I have attached the QVW file.
What I am trying to do is to show comparison of the NOTICE PERIOD of the employees if any of the employee with EXIT_IND='Y' is selected, Graphically.
Also it would be great if you could suggest some insight which can be applied with the available data.
Leaning everyday.

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for the help again. But I am trying for something else.
This would calculate the NOTICE PERIOD of employee with ind Y.
Now if I select a specific Employee, It would just show the NOTICE PERIOD of the selected employee.
But At this point I want to show the comparison(when single employee is selected) . To pick record from actual table and calculate the notice period. Just like we can peek specific record.
I am not sure if it is possible as internally qlikview filters the records as per the selection. Selecting 1 employee would filter out other employee details, so I wanted to access the actual table.
