Pie Chart - Can i display the value INSIDE the pie chart?

Hi,

Can Qlikview do something like this? I've tried all combinations and it seems the numbers will not display. Also for the below kind of Pie Chart, no numbers display at all.

In qlikview we cannot show value in pie chart slices.

it can be out side slice or

you can use value on Pop UP

hope this helps

There is an alternative, but isn't very "beauty".

Put the expression as a second calculated Dimention.

As this way, the values will be in both sides, out (by the expression) and in (by the dimention)

Hi Janet,

There is no property that can be set to display values inside the pie chart.

Though you can use a workaround to display both legends and values with the slices of the pie charts.

Do find the solution with the Qlikview File attached.

Abhinava, would you please explain how you arrived at the pie chart attached?

Late reply but I created two charts with transparency.  Its not ideal and the odd thing - qv does not center all the labels (e.g.  9%).  Big drawback how properties are mutually exclusive across charts and guages.   Hope qv fixes these shortcomings in the next release.

with a pie chart, this is really the only concept to get the values inside the slices - there is an option to put data inside the segment, but it is only for bar charts.

remember you also have the pop-up when you hover - depending on the number and size of the slices, this could be a good alternative.

If any of the above is not acceptable, you may want to look into extension objects
