It can only show positive values and a limited number of segments (slices).

It show positive value and negative value alone. But not combination of both positive and negative values.. We can show tat also, but not by default.

In addition to the comments above:

Pie charts are not good at showing widely dispersed values. If there is one dominant value it will overwhelm the others. You are better of using a bar chart.

Never use 3D. This is for show only and can seriously distort the perceived values if you are looking for statistical information from your chart.

Legends and labels can be hard to align and read.
