Pivot Table: Calculation of Subtotals and Alternate States

Hi all,

this question regards the calculation of subtotals while alternate states are defined.

It seems that by introducing alternate states (Document Properties/General/Alternate States...) the calculation of subtotals in pivot table

(Chart Properties/ Presentation CHECK "Show partial Sums") does stop to be functional.

Can somebody explain to me why this is? And most importantly, is there a away to circumvent this from happening?

Could you post a small sample QVW that demonstrates what you are talking about?

Hi Daniel,

I had the exact same issue.  It appears to be a minor bug.  After you add the alternate states, save your qvw and close it.  Upon reopening, all of the subtotals will reappear once again.
