We have recently upgraded from QV8.5 to QV9 and a very strange behaviour has appeared. In our Pivot Tables the labels seems to live a life of their own. Sometimes they show up, sometimes one label shows up and sometimes all labels are blank. Scrolling up and down sometimes help and other similar things.
It seems like this behaviour appears in the Pivot Tables where we have moved a dimension up to the columns.
Everything worked without problems in 8.5.
Anyone else who has experienced a similar behaviour or have any idea what could be wrong?
QlikView Server 9.00 SR3 is soon to be out - in a week or two, I guess. I know there are many corrections (or bugfixes) for pivot table especially since last version. So try with that, otherwise you should contact QlikView support and report them the problem.
I hope you are not accessign reports via IE on a 64-bit machine, as IE plugin has problems when running on 64 bit machines. Just what I read, but personally never experienced or tested.
I have tested the latest version of QlikView 9 (SR3) and I have the same problem as you.
I see this in the SR3 Release Notes Addendum:
"PivotTables can under some circumstances get the labels of the expressions corrupted; If a pivot table contain a minimum of two expressions and is pivoted so that the array of expressions are no longer the rightmost "dimension" the strings for the labels can get corrupted."

We upgraded to the IE Plugin SR3 - the "What's New in QV9.qvw" shows blank/white space on the Dashboard and Background tabs - there are no issues with the IE Plugin SR2.
I am having the same issue. Do you know if there are any work-arounds for this?
I had the same problem in version 9 SR3.
I downgraded to SR2 and the labels are correct.
I have found that you can re-create some pivot tables depending on your layout using straight tables with the Horizontal option chosen on the Presentation tab. This has fixed those of mine where I had one dimension with the values going across the top and my calculated measures going down the left.
Example:
Country is the dimension at the top and my calculations are in the leftmost column.
country US Canada
# customers 1000 50
# new - 2009 500 40
Hello, I have the same issue.
There is blog post from Qliktech saying there is a patch release which fixes this issue - but I cannot access the complete post.
Does someone know how we can get this patch?
Patch : QV SR3, build 9.00.7439
Thanks, Patrice
Hi, same problem here, do you have a link to that post perhaps? Thanks, Lukas
