I have a chart which displays as a straight table with a grand total as the top row. If I change the chart to a pivot table, the grand total disappears. The total settings in QV can be quite confusing, but I have checked every setting I can, without success. I have even checked against the settings in a very similar pivot table, which works fine. Sub-totals seem to work fine. Any advice from anyone to get the grand total back?
Thanks
Hi,
First convert this to pivot table.
Then Go to chart properties --> Presentation tab --> Select required dimension and click on show partial sum.
Let me know if that worked.

If you set "Show Partial Sum" for the first dimension, then you will get Grand total in Pivot table
Thans Ashfaq and anbu, but the option for Partial Sums is greyed out for that dimension.
For changing this
go to Properties of chart-->Style-->Current style choose Classic
Can you post sample to look over.
Try by dragging dimensions upward and downward in your Pivot chart itself.
