Plus Symbol in search or >> symbol in the search

Hi,

In the List box search i have given search option and when i use web view to see the search its showng plus symbol, can i plus symbol can be avoided in the web view how?

I don't think that this will be possible with the inbuilt settings/features but I could imagine that it could be changeable with an extension. Maybe this one will a good starting-point: Document Extension Solution to hide buttons on the AJAX toolbar...and anything else.

What is the reason for hiding the plus-sign?
