Political Map in QlikView

Hello Community,

I have a question regarding the possibility of showing "political" maps with QlikView.

(I use QlikView Desktop, Version 11.2.x and as a mapping tool the QuickMap extension)

Basically, what I would like to have is a country map, where only this one country (in my case, Germany) is shown - no neighboring nations (like in Desired_Map.png, but with city names etc.). On this map, I will then draw lines between certain cities (see Example_Lines)

I obtained a kml file an I can plot the provinces of the country (see Country_KML) - however, it is of course showing all the neighboring nations as well, which is not what I need.

Hence, I would like to ask whether there is a way I can do this with QlikView ? (Preferrably using QuickMap, but if any other extension can do it, it is fine with me.

Every suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hello!

You should be able to change the background map and choose the region you need. I do not know how to do this in Quickmap as I've never worked with it but IdevioMaps offers this feature.

Hope it helps!
