Print Button Woes

Morning All

more QlikView shenannigins! we have a peculiar issue with print buttons not behaving as expected.

typical dashboard, say for example 10 straight tables with a few selectors. Print button with an action  "Print Sheet", with the Sheet ID in the sheet id box.

1) button doesn't work at all in any browser other than IE with the PlugIn

Therefore in IE9 with PlugIn

If i or the other qlikview developer use the print button it works perfectly as you would expect.

if any of the users try using the print button, the dashboard prints BUT some/all of the tables in the browser suddenly lose all they're data and are set to 0 (i.e. where sales = £10M suddenly becomes sales = £0M - so its clearing the expressions and not the dimensions.

are we missing something? is the print button buggy? its a bizarre behaviour!

and is the print button only intended to work with IE9 with the PlugIn?

we're running the latest version of the client and server

do people actually use the print action via the button object? or do they just print via the browser?

Hi ,

can you please tell on how to enable the print function in ie 9 with plugin. i have created a app and have given a print icon to print the whole sheet. when i open it in ie 9 with plugin and when i click nothing works and if i Uncheck the Show print dialog the Print fucntion works. But the main requirement is the print dialog has to pop up which does not happen.... can you give me some idea on this please.
