Print icon disappears on Text Object

I have a text object with this expression in it.

='Total Arrivals: ' & Count([PatientEncounterID]) & Chr(10) & Chr(10) & GetCurrentSelections().

I have checked the "print" checkbox on the  Special Icons on the Caption tab in the properties window.  When I am in development mode, things work fine.  I click on the printer icon and it prints fine.  But after I publish it and then open the application (in IE 11) the printer icon is missing.  And yes I am displaying the caption.

I even tried checking the "Menu" option to see what items it gives and when I do that it only lists the Notes item.  Has anyone else had their printer icon disappear?  If so, how did you get it back?

Thanks

So far nobody has been able to answer this question so I am attaching as a simple example. Note all the icons on the caption. Now do View -> Turn On WebView and watch the icons disappear.

Hi Jim,

first thing ,could you please check any other browser(Chrome,Fire fox..etc)

check with other user credentials in a different machine .

if these things are not helped to you ,then try to check remove/delete the present app and copy paste new one else copy the same app with new name and check

Hope this will help to you.

Are you using the IE plugin?

Another option might be layers, eg something is overlaying the top part of the caption and the text box is set to bottom.

What IE plugin are you referring to?

I also don't think there is anything overlaying the icon because when I put the "Menu" icon, it shows up.

1)  I checked it on Chrome and still have the same problem

2)  We see the problem with all users on all machines we have tried.

3)  I have replaced the app many times as I am still in the development stage.

In QMC, select your published document in Documents->User Documents and navigate to the Server->Availability tab.

Is the option "Print and Export to Excel" enabled?

Best,

Peter
