I have tried to lease a desktop licence for user, but it fails.
user can log into AccessPoint, we get a server reply and can open application from the web site within the desktop app.
Though QlikView Desktop still says Personal Edition in it’s header bar. This should disappear.
I have tried uninstalling and re-installing QlikView Desktop. This did not fix the issue. It looks like QlikView leaves a lot of files behind even after a un-install.
Did you double check if license lease is allowed?
Did you use "open in server" when trying to open the app?
i am not sure user tried to open the app by using open in server,
So do what every serious developer or system administrator would do: Go check .
Actually one my user having this issue,So i am not aware of this while open the desktop applciation he tried to open in server or not?

Hi Susmita,
While leasing license, please make sure you are connected to the network where your Application Server is hosted.
To lease a license from the Server, follow the below steps:
1. Click on Open in Server
2. In the address bar type: qvp://domain\AD-ID@AppServerIP
3. Click on Open
4. If prompted enter your password
Hope it helps.
Regards,
Sakir
Also, make sure you have NAMED CAL License to the AD account which you are using.
HI Sakir,
Thanks for your reply,
I already assigned Named CAL license to the user.
Now User is able is able to view all applications though Access Point and Desktop app.
Now the Problem is user is unable to open applications through QlikView Desktop. Not a license problem
