Problem leasing licence

I have tried to lease a desktop licence for user, but it fails.

user can log into AccessPoint, we get a server reply and can open application from the web site within the desktop app.

Though QlikView Desktop still says Personal Edition in it’s header bar.  This should disappear.

I have tried uninstalling and re-installing QlikView Desktop.  This did not fix the issue.  It looks like QlikView leaves a lot of files behind even after a un-install.

Hi Susmita,

Are you able to lease license now?

Do you have section access implemented in the dashboard? If yes, then please add the access type of the user as admin in your section access data.

Sakir

Hi,

You can try this as well:

Right Click on the .qvw file and go to properties. In the security tab check if the Group is added where that user is belongs with full privilege, if not then click on edit and add that user with full control privilege.

If it doesn't work, share the exact error message you are getting or share the screen shot of the message.

Also, please check if you have any hidden script in the code.

Regards,

Sakir
