Problem to open a qvw file

Hi There!

I've worked on a qvw file for a couple of months.

My workflow is:

1 - Transform the raw data from a several sources;

2 - Send to the appropriate departamet the qvw to analsys stuffs...

It have always worked... But after the Server HostName and IP was changed, the files now does not open in the "clients".

A massage is displayed, something like: This file was created by another Personal Edition...

Any thoughts?

Thks!

PS: All the clients here have license.

Hey Guys!

I've solved it deleting the Qlikview Server Licenses Reliases, they was recorded with the old server-name.

Btw, I'm runnning an instance on Amazon(EC2). The windows instances have a service called Ec2Config which sets the hostname to the current private IP.

Thanks Guys!

Hi,

Do you have desktop lincense or do you use personal edition to develop?

Thanks,

Hello,

The qlikview document which was created previously must be created in Personal Edition.

And now may be you are opening in Personal Edition...! (New Machine/Host/IP)

A valid license key will help you to get through into it.

Thanks,

Advait
