Are your macro security settings set to System level?

Is Excel installed on the machine?

good question.

i am using win7  - 64bit version, and the ms-office-programms (2007) are also installed.

excel macros are allowed , because i use them to get data out of the "SAP BI-Server".

When you are in QlikView in the Edit Module window, what do the Requested Module Security and Current Local Security say?

They need to say System Access and Allow system Access.
