Problem with total in Pivot Table

Hi,

I have a problem when showing total sales.

The problem is there is a gap between total in data source with total in qlikview application, but the gap isn't significant (about 0.01). It must be the same between total from data source and total in qlikview application, because in qlikview  i load the same data source.

Are there any possibilities when i load the data from data source, the data is corrupt ? Or there is a problem with my qlikview ?

Hi,

The total in qlikview will be different from the total what we see from source.

In qlikview it will be expression total

Thanks for your reply, i mean i calculate the total with sum(sales) in qlikview, when i compare it with the total sales from data source there is a little gap.

Hi,

It should exactly match, if you are doing rounding off or applying number format in Number tab or something else then you will get this type of small mismatch.

Yes, ,i also think that it should be match. I don't put any rounding or number format in number tab.

The difference is about 0.01 only. Do you have any idea Jagan ?

Make sure your number format as "Expression Default" to match the total with data source.

If you share the application or data then it would easier to analyse, otherwise it is difficult to identify.
