Problems with Internet Explorer Windows 7 64 bit

I just obtained a new notebook which is running a Windows 7 64 bit operating system. I downloaded and installed the 32 bit Internet Explorer plug-in because there wasn't one available for 64 bit. I am running into the following issues:

· Tabs won't close and window basically locks up when I try to close the tab.

· Some reports will not open from the portal link. They get to the "XXX.qvw is being opened" window and then never load any further.

Any suggestions?

IE 64-bit has known issues with AccessPoint and clients and last I checked was not supported. That's why the IE Plugin only exists in 32-bit. I would recommend only using IE 32-bit.

Thanks, I switched to the 32 bit Explorer and it seems to be working. Smile

I know this is a very old thread, but we are having a client having the same problem with 64 bit IE. We are currently running QlikView 11.20.12235.0. Do we know if this is still an issue with 64 bit IE or if it has been resolved?

Brian, as far as I've heard, the plugin is still only supported for 32-bit IE.
