Publisher to be deployed on an existing client

Hi All,

I have one existing client, which already has developed applications/ reports in qvw

now he wishes to use QVW Publisher for the distribution to the users,

Please let me know the instruction for doing this, post buying the Publisher license

what might be the possible challenges faced  for the same

have neither worked on publisher nor seen how it works so a bit confused aout the success of the deployment of the Publisher.

Please help me with the instructions for the publisher part, have already checked the server reference manual

Hi, Prashant.

This may be a bit late for you but something for you to bear in mind in the future.

If it is simply distribution of reports that your client is after, it would be cheaper to recommend to them NPrinting which is a third of the price of Publisher. Although not a QlikTech produt it is recognised by QlikTech as a useful product. You can build Excel, Word, PDF and HTML reports in it, export QlikView objects and fields into the report and then schedule the output to go to email, Google Drive or folders for the users to access.
