I'm trying to set up some sort of authorisation that will allow only users open and see applications that they have licenses to. I started doing this using the authorisation tab within the QEMC and it worked ok, the problem I have now though is....I'm now using Publisher to publish my QVWs and when I do this the security settings are getting overwritten.
I have two questions really:
1 - Do I need to add each user individually to the distribute part of the task instead of using all authenticated? Does it need to match the authorisation tab of the QVW?
2 - Should I be using Section Access to do this, if so...how does it work?
Unfortunately I work for a rather large company and the IT dpeartment have complete control over the AD, I can't access it to make any sort of changes of additions, I like the idea though.
