Hi John,

You can schedule an external task, this will be either calling a batch or an exe file.

This way you can accomplish it.

thanks,

Rajesh Vaswani

Sorry for the confusion,....I'm putting it in detail here... I have a windows .bat file, I want this to get run every 12 hrs. Can this be scheduled in qlikview QMC... by creating a qlikview app where this qlikview app should trigger this .bat file every 12 hrs...

thnx

you can use External Action: Launch

you probably have a batch file to run an MS Access file to prep your data before you Load in Qlikview.

Of course we all know, you could have done it in Task Scheduler, but you probably want to perform this in QMC so you can chain this task to run your QV file after batch file is performed.
