QV 10 SR2 Sheet Event / On Open Trigger - Ajax Client

I am using the sheet activate trigger "Clear All Fields" which works fine in the IE Plugin but seems not to work in the Ajax offering.  Is this a limitation of Ajax or is there a different approach for clearing a selection when a tab / document is selected.
