QV 11 Upgradation on Older version to New Version..

Hi All,

Greetings QlikCommunity members!

When I am upgrade in my QlikView, Earlier version to present version for Ex, QlikView 9 to I am upgrade QlikView 11, most of them are common scenarios to be followed, first of all what are things to be concentrate into data level, QlikView desktop level, security level, system level, script level and object level, QlikView server level…I am find the document but I am not being …please briefly give me explanation ..

Hi,

in my experience there are few things to check. You have to open the qvw file with the new version and save, someone suggests to open with an intermediate version (10), save and then with the new one.

Then you could test if always it is fine, I found that there are problems with disabled expressions, it is better to delete them or re-create.

For server side, in the server reference manual you could find the steps to upgrade to the new version.
