QV Management Console Settings Help

Hi,

I hope that you can help. In the Qlikview application I have the be ablility to copy a graph to the clipboard and paste it into Exvel, Word, etc as a picture. However, once I publish a document via QlikView Access Point this faciliy disappears. I am only left with the ability to send to Excel or Export - both of these just export the table of data sitting behind the graph rather than the graph. I have played around with all othe settings in the management console but can't seem to be able to get this to work. Any ideas please?

On the Windows client machine:

Start > All Programs > Accessories > Snipping Tool

Give it a go, it is dead eady & Google is always there to help you.

This tool may not be there on vintage versions of Windows.

Best Regards,     Bill

Hello Janet,

This must be enabled for each document from within the management console. Within the documents tab, choose your desired QV document. Here click on Server > Availability > check 'Print and Export to Excel'

I hope this helps. Please mark as answered if this has resolved the issue.

Hi Mark,

I tried that and it makes no difference. I think that it just allows me to export but not copy.

Yup it is right pain not being able to export images of objects whilst browsing objects via the Access Point.

The best way I have come across is to use the Windows Snipping Tool, would that suffice for you ?
