QV V9 and VMware

Hi,

I recently migrated our Qlikview to a virtual server and we are having a number of issues. The files take a while to open up (6-10 seconds), the files keep losing connection with the server and the user has to refresh the document. When a user makes a seection the document freezes.

Has anybody experienced anything similar and has anybody a solution. Thanks,

Hi,

I can't be of much help as we haven't found a way of improving it, but we are having excatly the same symptoms with a VMWare QV8.5 and QV9 server.

It seems that virtual machines are not recommended - but that's not really an option for us.

We have just tried adding more CPUs and that has not improved the performance issues at all.
