QV document save - not responding

Hi All,

I have the 4 GB QVW file. Script reload is working fine.

But when i try to save that, It takes very long time, and it shows not responding.

I tried the below methods:

     i)     removed the hidden tabs.

     ii)    removed the conditional display charts.

     iii)    saving compression as None.

But it is not working for me.

How can we rectify this? Anybody have suggestion?

yes thirumala. we can able to reload and save the binary file.

Hi Jagan,

when i reduce the data, i can able to save it. (now the file size is 4GB to 90 MB)

Sorry for delayed response. We tried it in sevaral ways as you mentioned.

Create a new sheet and placing in empty sheet try to save it. - Not working

or

Reduce the file size and try to save it?  (Just for checking whether able to save) - This is somehow working, but we need to reduce lot of data (like 4 GB to 500 MB) - We have enough space in the system.

or

Is your file having Section Access?  If yes remove that script and try to save it. - Tried this, but not able to save.

Tried, the Compression as None option also.

Any other suggestion please.

Hi,

I think the file size is the issue, generally it will take more and more time to save the large files.  If you have any server with high configuration check in that.

To save this type of large files definitely you need a machine with high configuration.
