Hi,
After upgrading from v9 to v10 the Edit Script page is no longer displaying my table and views. They have been replaced by a single letter. The connection to the db is fine and it pulls data back successfully so I'm not sure what changed in v10 - any ideas?
Thanks,
Sarah
Sarah,
This is exactly the problem what we are facing!! We also are using Intersystems Cache v5 and 2007. We have logged a case with Qlikview and are working with them to replicate the issue. Good to know that they have already replicated this and have submitted this as a bug.
One more thing is that if you closely observe, all the fields with string data types of Cache are returning only a single character which is a greater problem. As most of our data is String type this issue was obvious for us. I read in your original post that you are getting all the data properly. Did you by chance observe this problem with your data?
Thanks
How did you resolve this issue?
we are also facing the same problem and we are using Caché database.
Sarah,
Just curious to know, which database are you using?
We're using Intersystems Cache v5 and 2007. I tested QV 10 with Cache 2010 and this problem did NOT exist. Migrating to Cache 2010 is not an option for us at this point so we're stuck with v9 SP6. (Not complaining since we love QV!)
QV support did replicate this problem and submitted it as a bug, but since there aren't many Cache users I'm not expecting a fix anytime soon.
Any Cache users out there that don't have this problem?....
Thanks!
Sarah

QV 10 sr1 resolved this issue.
