QV10 - Rename qvw documents on Access Point ?

Hi All,

Can anyone using QV10 tell me if it's possible to rename qvw documents only on the Access Point, purely for presentation purposes ?

I'm currently using QV9 SR5 and want to avoid the pain of renaming the qvw documents for cosmetic purposes (user request for longer / friendlier document names) - could a move to QV10 solve my problem with some kind of 'Display As' name attribute I could add in the QEMC ?,

Hello,

There's not such feature in v10 either as far as I know. If you want different names for your files, you will have to rename them.

Maybe I should try a different approach - is there any way to add additional meta data to that already visible in the Access Point, like a more informative document description ?

I've had a look into the 'Document Information' setting in QEMC and added an attribute with a document description and that seems to get saved to the '.qvw.meta' file...any way of displaying that with the document in AccessPoint ?,

Can I suggest that this be added in future releases?  It would be a very useful feature for some of your users.
