Hi, How can i open QVD DASHBOARD file in qlikview ? is there any way to open dashboard using qvd file.

I have a QVD file whole dashboard place in that qvd file. how can i open that whole dashboard?

Dear Faryal,

If you are going to open QVW file which is created by another user and QVW data source file is QVD. This QVW document is created by licensed user and you have QlikView Personal Edition, then you are not able to open that QVW document.

However if you are going to be open or wants to view data, inside the QVD file, then use software (QViewer).

Or

You can view the QVD data by using Table Viewer in QlikView, first of all you need to add data source (qvd file) in your qvw document by using edit script "table files" > reload script > Open table view (CTRL+T) > Right Click on the table > Select "Preview"

Dear Amjad,

In Qvd file you can have the Data Not the Dashboard.

QVD (Qlikview Data File) is used to store the Data.

In QVW file you can have the Dashboard.

if you have the QVD file then Read it into Qlikview .

and create the Reports.
