QVD from directly from document QVW

Hi,

can I create directly a file QVD from a document QVW ? (without executing script)

But there is another way, if I'm understanding it right:

BINARY Load the QVW in a second QVW and the place a STORE command to pull out the data there. The script from the first QVW will not be executed..

you've got to script e.g. like this:

Store $(vTable) into $(varDataStorePath)$(vTable).qvd;

Hi,

NO i think not possible at least you have a table with table name and a STORE command like

Tablename:

Load *

From Location;

STORE  Tablename into Tablename.qvd;

No, you can't do it without running  a script. You can use the QMC to generate QVDs.

you can Export a Chart as QVD (using right click).

Yes, you can.

Create a Straight Table that contains the fields you want.

Right-Click the table, select Export and then select the QVD file type.

but the chart contains 190 fields.
