Hi Anant,

   Some tips.

1) Remove unnecessary fields and data from application. I mean comment it whichever is not usefull.

2) Try to Avoid the complex logic at chart level and if condition in charts and front end.

3) Create a Memory Statistics file(.Mem) from Document Properties and then load this into QV Optimizer then you will know each and every Field, Object, Table and variable is taking the memory then you can decide what to do with that.

When you could see, there is very slow response time or similar issue from the users. you could think the most important/Top Matrices and create document chaining to handle the application.

Try to load the data into QVD then load the data from Qvd to your main application(.qvw).

This will not only reduce the size but also Fast retrieval of data is accomplished.

Hi,

I would also look into the possibility of reducing the amount of periods showing in the document. Maybe split the document into two files with one containing old data and the second containing newer. I don't know how much you have stored historically but unless needed only try and keep the period you actually use on a daily basis maybe last year or last 3 years.
