Is there any size limit for QVW file ?

Whats the difference b/w QVW and QVD ,QMC,QVPR,QVS?

QVW is limited by your free memory to load that qvw.

QMC Qlikview Management Console (manage the server)

web based application (you just need a browser) used to manage the Qlik server environement (server and publisher)

QVPR qlikview repository (server)

Qlikview publisher repository; is where the QMS (Qlikview Management Service) keeps its settings (document, user, license, etc...)

QVS usually an include file for qlik script (sub, variables)

There is a limit on the number of distinct values in each field.A QlikView app cannot have more than 2,147,483,648 distinct values in any one field. Apart from this you must have sufficient RAM to load the application.

The QVW size depends on the data contained in the app and is related more to the uniqueness of the data rather than simply the number of rows.

Qvw file size is unlimited if you have good space memory and ram is perfect and then you can store what ever size you want.

As colin size said might be there has limits for distinct values which has not more than that value.

Colin, does this value is a single value for each field?
