Qlik Sense QVD

Hello.

With Qlik Sense Desktop, After extracting a table from a database (SQL), i store the table in a QVD and then i can use it.

but

With Qlik Sense server if i want to do the same think ! it have to be stored in the repository data base or where ?
and how the Schedule Service will do the auto reload. ?

The file system yes. In most cases that means a hard drive. The repository database stores just about everything that's needed to make Qlik Sense Enterprise run: configuration, users, authorizations, tasks etc. It does not store the app files or the qvd files the apps generate.

The repository database stores system and app meta data, while the file share stores binary application data such as, data models and app content.
