Qlik services

My QMC not able to login this occurs many times and same time the Qlikview Management Servise is stopped and when i restart it all is fine and i able to login to server. But why i service is stoped and i have to start it manually.

Hi Jayant,

Have you tried to set the service to automatically restart? Also, did you check if everything okay with the service account? What happens with other services and I assume all of the services are running under same service account?

Yes it is in Automatic restart setting problem is when ever i restart my PC i have to start the service. But many times this happen.

You can set it the start up type of the services to Automatic (delay restart).

After setting Automatic (Delay restart) same problem but this time it occurs occasionally.

Any more or other option for same.

services.msc-> right click and go to properties->recovery-> set every where in dropdown Resstart the services.

do this for all qlikview services. then it will restart automatically after reboot also

Jayant,

first we need to find the root cause, which is why the QMC service goes down? I would suggest to check the QMC logs and see if you notice any kind of errors, also check the Windows Event logs.

Where i can find Windows Event logs and QMC logs.
