Qlik ver 11 problem ODBC 32 bit

Hello All,

we have upgraded the qlik to 11 and now we get an error when reloading the documents. we were told that we have to change our ODBC to 64 bit.

Before that I would like to have your idea about that because it seems not very clear to me that it resolve the problem.

Thanks,

Nima

The checkbox will have an effect only when making new connections. For existing CONNECT statements, it should be possible to just change them (manually) to CONNECT32.

This is strange. Using CONNECT32 instead of CONNECT 32-bit ODBC drivers should work fine.

Sorry,

But it's not clear to me what you are trying to explain.

Whether it is QlikView 10 or 11 should not matter. But if you have upgraded from 32-bit QV to 64-bit QV, then you need to change the script the way Kuba_Michalik suggests.

You mean I have change the script? But how? Could you please give me an example.

I have already Forced it to be 32 bit by checking the Force 32 bit box but my script is like

ODBC CONNECT TO  ..........

Thanks,

Nima
