Hi Team,
Please help me, I developed an application in 32 bit Desktop version of QlikView in 32 bit windows 2008 server, through the access point I can see application well. But when the application move to the production server where 64 bit QlikView is installed in 64 bit windows 2008 server. Through the access point in production server I can not view it properly through the access point in IE8. Fonts are larger on production and alignments of charts are wrong as if resolution has decreased somehow.
Please let me know the solution.
Thank You
View the application using Web View mode on QlikView desktop. The fonts and some object sizes such as scroll bars will differ in size using the Ajax viewer.
On the View menu select Turn on/off WebView.
This should show the difference. It is not a 32/64 bit issue.
Are the QV versions and release numbers aligned between your PC, 32 bit server and the 64 bit server? Are you viewing the same way (Ajax or plugin) on both servers?
Thanks for your reply Jonathan.QV version(matched build numbers as well) are same in both servers and we are viewing this from AJAX (IE8) on both servers.
However Production is Windows 2008 r2 (64 bit). While dev is Windows 2008 (32 bit)
And R2 for Windows 2008 is not available for 32 bit systems.
Hi Colin,
Thanks for your reply. Actually in development server web view is ok through access point but same application if I move to the production server then the web view is not ok through the access point.
Hi,
Have you try checking the FORCE 32 BIT in the script editor under database connection section?
I am fetching data from .txt file. Not need to connect any data base.
